Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

1. Who we are and what this Policy covers

1.1 Scope. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how R8, together with its affiliates, successors and assigns ("R8", "we", "us" or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use the website at r8rate.com and any related domains, apps, interfaces, APIs, features and services (the "Platform"). This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service (the "Terms"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.

1.2 Non-custodial Platform. The Platform is non-custodial. Your wallet, private keys and assets stay under your control, and every transaction is initiated by you. Questions about this Policy can be sent to the address in Section 14.

1.3 What this Policy does not cover. This Policy does not apply to third-party services you use together with the Platform, such as wallet software, blockchains and smart contracts, social networks and sign-in providers. Their own privacy policies apply to them (Section 12).

1.4 Acceptance. The first time you access the Platform, we ask you to confirm, by selecting Accept, that you have read and accept the Terms and this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us.

  • Sign-in details. If you sign in with an email address or a third-party account such as X or GitHub, we receive your email address or basic profile details from that account, such as your username, display name, profile picture and account ID.
  • Wallet information. Your public wallet address and, where we check eligibility for access, information about the tokens it holds.
  • Token launch details. The name, ticker, image, description, links and social accounts you add when you launch a Token. This information is public.
  • Invite codes you enter.
  • Messages. Your email address and the content of any message you send us.

2.2 Information collected automatically.

  • Usage data. Pages and screens you view, buttons and links you click, how you interact with forms and other elements, and actions you take, such as launching a Token or completing a trade, including the Tokens and amounts involved.
  • Device and connection data. IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring page, date and time of access, and error and diagnostic reports.
  • Identifiers. A random identifier stored in your browser and, once you sign in, your account ID and display name.
  • Acceptance records. Which version of the Terms and this Policy you accepted, when, and from which wallet or account.

2.3 Information from other sources.

  • Public blockchain data linked to your wallet address (Section 6).
  • Information that sign-in and wallet providers share with us when you use them.
  • Public profile information, such as profile pictures, for social accounts linked to Tokens.
  • Risk information about wallet addresses from screening tools, if we use them.

2.4 What we do not collect. We never ask for your private keys or seed phrase. We do not currently require identity documents.

3. How we use information

3.1 Purposes. We use personal information to:

  • operate the Platform, including sign-in, wallet connection, token launches, trading, balances, profiles and sharing features;
  • prepare transactions for you to approve in your wallet and show public on-chain activity;
  • keep the Platform secure, prevent fraud, abuse and manipulation, moderate content, screen wallets and block restricted jurisdictions;
  • understand how the Platform is used, measure performance, fix errors and improve it;
  • respond to your messages and send service notices, such as changes to the Terms or this Policy;
  • keep records of your acceptance of the Terms and this Policy;
  • comply with the law, respond to authorities, enforce the Terms, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
  • transfer the Platform to an affiliate or successor.

3.2 Legal bases. Where the law requires a legal basis, we process personal information to perform our contract with you (the Terms), for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Platform and enforcing the Terms, with your consent where we ask for it, and to comply with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect earlier processing, and some features may stop working.

3.3 Automated screening. We may use automated tools to screen wallet addresses and detect abuse. These tools can lead to restrictions under the Terms, such as blocking a wallet. If you believe a decision about you was wrong, contact us.

4. Cookies, local storage and analytics

4.1 Browser storage. We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, secure the Platform and measure its use.

4.2 Analytics. We use third-party product-analytics tools to understand how the Platform is used. They automatically record events such as page views, clicks, form interactions and trades, together with the device and connection data described in Section 2.2. When you sign in or connect a wallet, these events may be linked to your account ID, display name and wallet address. Our analytics providers may derive your approximate location from your IP address.

4.3 No advertising. We do not use cookies or similar technologies for targeted advertising.

4.4 Your choices. You may clear browser storage or use browser or device controls to limit certain technologies. Some features may then reset or stop working.

5. How we share information

5.1 Service providers. We share personal information with providers that help us run the Platform. These include hosting and infrastructure, blockchain node and indexing services, sign-in and embedded-wallet providers, analytics, communication and support tools, and security and screening services. They may use it only to provide their services to us.

5.2 Public information. Information you choose to make public, such as Token launch details, your profile and your on-chain activity, is visible to everyone (Section 6).

5.3 Legal and safety. We may disclose information to authorities, courts or other parties when we believe this is required by law or legal process. We may also do so when it is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of R8, our users or others, to prevent fraud or abuse, to comply with sanctions or to enforce the Terms.

5.4 Business transfers. We may transfer personal information to an affiliate or successor as part of a reorganization, merger, financing, sale of assets or similar transaction, including a transfer of the Platform to a company that operates it. The recipient will be bound by this Policy or by a policy that protects your information at least as well.

5.5 With your consent. We may share information in other ways with your consent or at your direction, for example when you use a "Share" feature.

5.6 Aggregated data. We may share anonymized or aggregated information that does not identify you.

5.7 No sale. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for targeted advertising.

6. Public blockchain data

6.1 Public by design. When you use the Platform, your wallet address and your transactions are recorded on the Solana blockchain. This includes Tokens you launch, buy, sell or hold, and the amounts, prices and times of your transactions. This data is public and permanent, and anyone can see it, including through block explorers and analytics tools.

6.2 We cannot change or delete it. We do not control public blockchains and cannot correct, hide or delete data recorded on them. The rights described in Section 10 therefore may not apply to on-chain data.

6.3 Linking to you. A wallet address does not by itself reveal who you are. It may be linked to you through other information, for example if you connect a social account, share a trade on social media or use the same wallet elsewhere. The Platform may show your wallet address, trades and holdings next to your connected profile.

6.4 Think before you transact. If you do not want information to be public and permanent, do not record it on a blockchain. Keep personal information out of Token names, images and descriptions, and consider using a separate wallet for the Platform. You can browse the Platform without connecting a wallet.

7. International transfers

7.1 Where information is processed. We and our service providers may process personal information in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States. Data-protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.

7.2 Safeguards. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or the UK authorities, or on another lawful basis for the transfer.

7.3 Your acknowledgment. By using the Platform, you understand that your personal information may be transferred to and processed in these countries.

8. How long we keep information

8.1 General rule. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in Section 3. This includes operating the Platform, complying with the law, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and abuse, and enforcing the Terms.

8.2 Examples.

  • Account and profile information: while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Analytics and log data: as long as it is useful for securing and improving the Platform. After that we delete or anonymize it.
  • Messages you send us: as long as needed to respond and keep a record of the exchange.
  • Records of your acceptance of the Terms and this Policy: as long as they may be needed to prove acceptance.
  • Screening and compliance records: as long as the law requires.

8.3 Exceptions. Blockchain data is permanent (Section 6). We may keep anonymized or aggregated information that no longer identifies you without time limit.

9. Security

9.1 Our measures. We take reasonable measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information.

9.2 Your part. You are responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys, seed phrase, devices and connected accounts. We will never ask you for your private key or seed phrase.

9.3 Incidents. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you or the authorities where the law requires it.

10. Your rights and choices

10.1 Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct it;
  • delete it;
  • restrict or object to our use of it, including where we rely on legitimate interests;
  • receive a copy of it in a portable format; and
  • withdraw your consent where we rely on it.

10.2 How to exercise them. Write to us at the address in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity, for example by asking you to sign a message with your wallet. We will respond within the time the law requires. Where the law allows, we may refuse or limit a request, for example if it is manifestly unfounded or excessive, or if we must keep the information to comply with the law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

10.3 Limits. We cannot change or delete blockchain data (Section 6). If we delete some information, you may no longer be able to use parts of the Platform.

10.4 Complaints. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may complain to your local data-protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

11. Children

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe that a minor has given us personal information, contact us at the address in Section 14, and we will take steps to delete it.

12. Third-party services and links

12.1 Their policies apply. The Platform works with and links to services we do not control. These include wallet software, embedded-wallet and sign-in providers, blockchains and block explorers, social networks such as X and GitHub, and the issuers of tokens. When you use them, they may collect information about you under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, so please review their policies.

12.2 Content loaded from third parties. Some content on the Platform, such as profile pictures linked to public social accounts, may be loaded directly from third-party services. Those services then receive your IP address and basic browser information.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may change this Policy at any time by posting a revised version on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Changes take effect when posted unless we state a later date. We may, but do not have to, notify you in other ways, except where the law requires notice or consent. By continuing to use the Platform after a change, you acknowledge the updated Policy.

14. Contact

Questions about this Policy, requests to exercise your rights and complaints: [email protected]. To help us respond, include the wallet address or account details your request relates to.
